The “One Year Walk” is a challenge to read through the Bible in one year in chronological fashion.
Each scripture entry on this site will be laid out in the order which it occurred. For example in the middle of the book 1 Samuel when David is a key character, the reader will find excerpts from the Psalms that David wrote. In the New Testament book of Acts, the reader will find letters from Paul that he wrote to young churches during his missionary journeys which are historically recorded in that book.
Reading through the Bible in this fashion helps the reader to understand the narrative flow of the text from Genesis to Revelation.
On the bottom of each page the reader will have the opportunity to leave a comment or ask a question to others who are journeying with them on the OYW challenge.
God has given us two ways to know Him. First through knowing Him in the Scripture and second through the experience from living the life of faith.
To get started, just click on today’s date under the OYW menu, read the text, then record your observations below. You may be surprised what you learn.
We hope you choose to join us in this journey. It's one year that will change your life.
